Suddenly reframing Dracula (novel/audio drama) as Folie a deux (folie a cinq?).
Jonno has a horrific surrealist experience in Transylvania, comes home where his boss and his wife’s bestie promptly drop dead. Our dude is more than a little traumatized, as is his wife. Then his wife’s bestie’s grief-stricken suitor squad convince them that not only was the bestie MURDERED, but the killer is the asshole who tormented Jonno in the castle, and said asshole is actually a supernatural creature.
So who’s the primary in this shared delusion? I think it has to be Seward - primed by his education under van Helsing and perhaps triggered by Renfield.
