The Sahaba would acknowledge two phases. A phase of hardship and a phase of ease. And when they were in a phase of hardship they would await the phase of ease. And they preferred to wait for ease rather than being at ease and Ibn Abbas {R.A} would say “The foundation of Dunya is hardship” And the Hadith of the prophet {Peace be upon him} that “waiting for ease is the most virtuous worship” imam Ghazali says there are two types of people; The people of BOUNTY and the people of NEED. And IT IS THE DUTY (YES! DUTY) of the people of bounty to help the people of need! That is their test….and when you ignore the people of need Allah can make you among the people of need and when noone helps, you lie there confused. Even though it’s just recompense 😥 May Allah allow us to help the people of need where ever they may be.
