Worrying about tomorrow will not avert the depression of tomorrow but will surely deny you the joy of today.
Shaykh Suleman Moola
Whoever regularly remembers death is honoured with 3 things
1. He will hasten towards repentance 2. Contentment of the heart 3. Energy/drive when doing 'Ibaadah
One pillow too low, two pillow too high.
If you want to know the religion of a man, do not look at how much he prays and fasts, but rather, look at how he treats people.
"ISIS isnt muslim" are you serious??? "ISIS" literally stands for "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria." Emphasis on ISLAMIC (=muslim)
radical islam ≠ islam BOI how are they muslim when they don’t follow the basics of islam?? if i call myself a vegan and eat meat then u wouldn’t consider me a vegan until i started acting like one yet ur dumb ass would be in my inbox saying “farha called herself a vegan so she’s vegan which means all vegans eat meat (VEGAN = Vmeat Eat Good A Nutrition) (FARHA = Feast A Real Hmeat Always = vegan)

My wife died before me. I wish she could take from my life or that we died together. I have seen how men hit their wives. May my hand be paralysed if my hand hits Zaynab.

"Obedience is primary and then understanding the reasons behind obedience is secondary, and that is why the devil is the devil, because he put understanding the rule before obedience"
The 101 yrs old Malaysian mother who took care of her 63 yrs old disabled son recently passed away, Allah Yarhamha 💔😢
It’s a blessing of Allah to feel and acknowledge you did wrong. To be aware of our own sins, so that we may repent and be freed of it. There’s always this burden on the heart, an inner voice saying “You’re better than this”, and as long as you hear that voice, Allah is still seeking you, and having the ability to respond is truly a blessing.
"If your "dawah" is most likely to cause fitna then step away
With reverts take things slow, if they struggle to stop certain prohibited acts don’t enforce it on them all of a sudden and be really harsh ,Shaykh Ashraf Ali Thanwi was told once about a man who accepted Islam but really struggled to fast because of not being used to it, His community pushed him so hard he finally left Islam. Shaykh Thanwi was extremely saddened by this and said if it was me I’d have slowly, Taught him to pray and other easier worship and slowly eased into fasting. Even some classical Ulema gave allowance with music until the person was at ease with his belief. Act with wisdom not emotion! Take the Hadith where a new Muslim brings a bottle of wine as a gift to The Prophet and the prophet beautiful advises him , Without admonishment. People misunderstand the concept of "forbidding evil" {نهي عن المنكر} so much these days. The Ulema have placed condition on when it’s applicable imagine so many of you go on a rant pulling out Hadith to a revert and it just puts them off Islam. Study how to give Da'wah aswell. The Ulema say if your dawah is most likely going to cause fitnah then step away. Ibn Hajar and others discuss this in detail.
How beautiful is the symmetry in the Quraan.
No worse feeling than stepping in to a puddle and getting your socks wet. In your shoes.
The funniest people are the ones who laugh at their own jokes.
The Sahaba would acknowledge two phases. A phase of hardship and a phase of ease. And when they were in a phase of hardship they would await the phase of ease. And they preferred to wait for ease rather than being at ease and Ibn Abbas {R.A} would say “The foundation of Dunya is hardship” And the Hadith of the prophet {Peace be upon him} that “waiting for ease is the most virtuous worship” imam Ghazali says there are two types of people; The people of BOUNTY and the people of NEED. And IT IS THE DUTY (YES! DUTY) of the people of bounty to help the people of need! That is their test….and when you ignore the people of need Allah can make you among the people of need and when noone helps, you lie there confused. Even though it’s just recompense 😥 May Allah allow us to help the people of need where ever they may be.
When everything is overwhelming and I need to take a break from life, the people around me and at times even from my own self, I just go out and gaze aimlessly into the night. I like to think about how many stories happen in a single moment, or about how many people witness the same day in so many different ways. As I’m watching the night, I know somewhere far away the sun is rising. I know somewhere someone is preparing a breakfast and someone else is getting ready for bed. And as I’m gazing at the stars, I know somewhere a secret meeting between a servant and his Lord is taking place. Someone somewhere is whispering his prayers in the last third of the night, asking His Lord for a favour, asking for forgiveness for his sins or maybe for His help. So many different perceptions, so many different happenings, everyone lives alone in their own world, with their feelings and problems, but from your own perspective, in a world of hurt and pain, we often turn a blind eye to the struggles of the ones around us, or we simply don’t find the energy and the time to deal with their pain, because we’re so hurt ourselves that taking a step back and acknowledging that we aren’t the only ones who are suffering becomes nugatory and unimportant. But for Allah there are more than 7 billion individuals with their own problems, and He listens to each one of us. He knows what’s in your heart, He knows what is burdening you. He knows it all and this is something that truly puts me to shame, precisely because I can only process the limited world of one single individual and that’s why I can never really understand how mighty He is. And because of that, I feel ashamed. And even though I’m able to put it into words how He encompasses all things, I will never in this life be able to feel the awe and humbleness in a way He truly deserves.
