The bane of my existence right now and I'm struggling. These alarms are the cooking, the laundry, the chair time, the company keeping, the physical therapy and the diaper changing for a elder that can't walk really, can't remember and , frankly, can be a little bossy. But she is my mom and I am an only child so it's me or that really not so great trust in that not so great system. I know people (i.e. Some of the workers in healthcare) care, but it's not the same. I know I am lucky to be able to be here for her - but it doesn't mean it doesn't wear me down.
