Honestly i think the writers should’ve had GB not say anything about what happened in the oven or much about the ultimate cookie

It would better explain the others a lack of reaction about it since they don’t know

And would help build up ultimate cookie and what it’s doing to gb better

they just don’t care about them for no reason, the writers haven’t been caring for gingerbrave a lot, that’s why he’s the lowest gb in terms of writing but I’m hoping once they get rid of shadow milk cookie all together then we get a huge sigh of relief but we know that won’t happen because “understanding” and cash cow since their in debt most likely they’re gonna drag shadow milk along for act 3 and he takes up 40% of the story and then ultimate cookie and gingerbrave barely get anything like always, I mean look at how they showed this then it was sugar swan despite the grey not looking anything like sugar swan and she should’ve had her own update instead of ulti that would’ve fitted better then sugar swan out of nowhere

Then what happened to ultimate cookie? Became a power for someone else then more of it’s abilities were revealed in an exposition dump by the milked cow, then barely anyone is talking about them like it’s way more threatening of them no the blue thing is way more threatening because look at what he can do, bravery hill? The only good part yet we don’t know barely anything about it, why? Because we have to move onto the next story, sigh, I swear Devsisters better clutch up and ultimate cookie takes over gbs body then crumbles Smc themselves showing how it really looks to harness their power

but I know Devsisters won’t do that because their cash cow still has fans to milk the hell out of

if this happens then I’m not gonna be surprised, gb dies and goes to the Nether realm, shadow milk is redeemed and then acts completely different for the reason of plot milking, and then pvc doesn’t care for gb at all and tuc can be easily defeated by the power of friendship or some shit unlike Smc, that’s how I see them doing the story atp

I mostly had to leave because I was short on ideas, artblock hit me like a brick on my own au ideas, I got caught up in hban too much but do you blame me it’s sick

Anyways here’s a bit I made about if ovenfire gb met my ultimate vessel gb, ovenfire belonging to @ovenfire-heart-crk-au a reference to how they both flare up with ulti’s dough and it burns (uv being less severe then of)

Tentative plans for Ovenfire Heart

Honestly, at the moment I'm mainly just winging it and going with the flow of whatever I've got written, but I do have some things in mind!

(Do note that the fanfic is most likely gonna be somewhat of a slow burn except for specific action-focused chapters, so everything I'll be talking about in this post will take a whileeee to develop ehehe~)

First, the fanfic will be a mix of angst, drama, fluff and humor altogether, with most of the angst and drama coming from Gingerbrave focused chapters like chapter 1, 2 and the upcoming chapter 4.

The angst and drama aspects will focus on Gingerbrave's complicated feelings revolving around his lacking self-esteem, self-sacrificial nature and conflicted emotions regarding all the things he went through. He's basically like a child soldier after all, and the traumas that come with that will rear their ugly heads soon enough...

The humor aspect on the other hand will usually come from two things: Ultimate Cookie gradually discovering what it's like to be a cookie and the hijinks that'll come from it, and their wacky interactions with Gingerbrave (and other cookies) as a result of their... unusual upbringing, like in chapter 3.

Of course, I'll try my best to make use of their inherent creepiness, unsettling appearance and manipulative nature to create tense situations from time to time, but for a good chunk of the fanfic Ulti will be more or less a silly goober just discovering what it's like to live!

Which is in contrast to Gingerbrave, who'll eventually snap and become "evil"... whatever that entails, I've yet to decide for certain, but he WILL crash out on everyone at some point and it won't be pretty ^^;

It's kinda poetic really- as the story develops, Gingerbrave slowly goes down a darker path while Ulti walks a lighter one, with them both influencing each other on their respective paths for better or worse

The fluff aspect will mainly come from wholesome moments between Gingerbrave and his siblings (Strawberry and Wizard) or close friends, and between him and Ulti- being who he is, Gingerbrave's kindness will rub off on Ulti eventually, and the latter will eventually learn what it's like to have a conscience and moral compass, though let's hope Gingerbrave's self-sacrificial nature won't rub off on them too...

Finally, the end goal is for the two's relationship to be something like platonic soulmates, but it'll be a longggg time before we get to that point (and even longer for those two to realize that, much less accept it), and until then I'll be having fun making everyone in-universe thinks Ulti is trying to date Gingerbrave while the latter keeps accidentally making it look like he's reciprocating :P

With all that being said, looks like I'll have to change the story's summary at one point to be more ftting, likely once chapter 4 is out since that's when the story's main arc truly begins

so let start with the main one.

I decided that gingerbrave should have leg brace on his only leg, due to how much run can effect his only leg, his cane is more like a actually war scythe, he have a mental problem where during moment of alone or great stress, he will see/hear a being that will try to get him to do things that he often hold back, like eat other cookie or bite but after the war. It because more of a voice of deep reason like not truth someone or be selfion when he need it.

The necklace gem that round his neck are sensory chews , they was make by chill when she found him bite his hand for the 6 time and got worry. 

His metal leg was make by wizard and strawberry during their first meet. He can use it as a jump boost or a way to knock someone out with a kick but in the water, it can easy come off.  

So he dosen’t like water 

Now gingerbright, I decided to make her as the bomb class. Since I want the brave gang to cover all of the class in the game . she is new member and was brought back to life by the gang after the war, she love to have fun and being her twin brother ( I saw a lot of people think that brave and bright are twin and I like the idea) she  can scary anyone with her uuuu stare, she just have a strange ass smile. 

She change her hair to more of a wild ponytail after meet black raisin and Caramel Arrow.

She use her weapon to sent bomb fly to her foe and have a mean 

Kick.

Gingerdozer , the little one, the younger one of the gang. He is the range of the group and use the dream of his as a weapon to fire at his foe. He is much stronger than he looks due to how he carries his weighted blanket and the plush. His plush was creator by his older brother which act as a servant . It carries him round when he falls asleep( he has Narcolepsy) while acting as a shield and mace when he need it to be. 

Also he can enter the dream realm since he sleep so much. He know the in and out of the whole place. I just think it makes scene. 

I make that dozer have a scar on his face instead of whatever he has before. It makes him more soft and a bit sad, note the scar was cause by brave and it was an accident.

The ultimate cookie, or now it name gingersnap, they pick it out themself.  They have quit their evil way after get their dough beat up by gingerbrave during the war. Brave came back for them with the knowledge that white lily note hold. The gang manger to bring gingersnap a body. Which was nice but give the same need for leg brace like brave.

Gingersnap was the one who brought the soul of Gingerdozer and gingerbright out of the oven as they kind feel bad and brave work so much to bring them back, why not bring some other that he might recognition. 

They use two war scythe like dagger. But he main act a Support with his skill of power up the gang weapon/ magic with the curse of the oven flame or blessing of the winter fridge.

They acting like a older brother in the gang and one who take of brave which it a strange feel for him to have someone that take care of him. Gingersnap love to best his brother in thing but it not in mean sprite, it just a way for them to coping mechanism with identity issue!!

Context is explained in the fanfic, but the TL;DR is that on their way to Crispia, Ulti had eavesdropped on a lot of conversations and became fascinated by the concepts of romance, love and attraction

Several stolen books about romance being read later, Ulti somehow got it into their head that looking "cool, handsome and badass" to Gingerbrave and courting him was the best way to convince him to merge with them at long last!

...With all the romantic subcontext completely flying way over their head, essentially making it everyone else's problem

(By the by, is there like a secret discord server/group for fans of Gingerbrave and Ultimate Cookie fanfics? Please I really need someone to talk about them to almost none of my friends are interested ;w;)
