A few days ago, I went to the revamped Toys R Us in New Jersey! It's definitely a lot smaller than I thought it would be, but it sure felt like home again.
It's like a super tiny version of the Times Square TRU, minus the ferris wheel and escalators; the store's got a playground and other fun stations, and every section of toys is its own brand. There was also a Nintendo section where ppl got to try out games on the Switch.
There were only a few toy brands available, but I ended up taking two Na! Na! Na! Surprise dolls I had been looking for.
Overall, it was amazing to finally be able to visit my second home away from home one more time, even if it was for a little while. Do you guys think this is only the beginning of an epic comeback for TRU? I believe so. 😉
