"Sharing Warmth", if you're still taking asks?
Absolutely! Thanks! (Of course, now I'm actually catching up on the last ones from Wednesday. >.>)
‟Ah. . .” Haku hesitated, and Kakashi rubbed his shoulder lightly. ‟Kakashi-senpai. . .” He glanced up. ‟He said. . .” ‟I thought Haku might find himself a more comfortable home here,” Kakashi said when he faltered, ‟than,” he paused, and Haku looked up again as he made a gruff little sound, ‟where he was.”
“Sharing Warmth” for Wip Wednesday, please?
‟Thank you, Hakkun.” Kakashi’s mother said, smiling. ‟And welcome.” ‟Haku, this is my mother,” Kakashi said, then laughed, ‟as you noted. Orochimaru.”
Sharing Warmth for wip wednesday?
‟Your mama is really pretty.” Haku murmured, then ducked his head. A warm laugh startled him, and he looked up to meet equally warm golden eyes, startled to find they had narrow, slit pupils like a cat’s. ‟This is Haku.” Kakashi supplied, smoothing a hand over Haku’s nape and across his shoulders. ‟I picked him up in Mizu no Kuni.”
Sharing Warmth for WIP Wednesday!
‟Kakashi-senpai, is this. . ?” Haku asked softly, and Kakashi squeezed him closer. ‟This is home.” Kakashi said lightly, and Haku realised he looked more relaxed as a heavy door swung easily closed behind them. It wasn’t dark, candles everywhere in the carved walls, and it wasn’t close, either, the space they had walked into bigger than any building Haku had ever been inside before.
Sharing warmth please :)
A week’s time, and it had warmed a little, but Haku still found himself comfortably nestling beside Kakashi every night . . . and when they approached a great stone door like a fanged mouth - it was a mouth, Haku saw after a moment; a great stone snake’s mouth - it felt natural to tuck himself against Kakashi’s side, eyes widening. Kakashi hummed, smoothing a hand over his shoulder, but didn’t pause, heading right beneath those long fangs. Haku glanced up nervously as they passed, stone or not.
Sharing Warmth (C2?) for the WIP Game this week please!
He barely had the time for a last appreciative thought, then sleep was stealing over him. The next night, when Kakashi invited Haku close, he didn’t hesitate, curling up into the offered warmth, sheltered against Kakashi’s chest. It was secure and comfortable, and Haku slept better than he ever remembered before.
How about Sharing Warmth for the WIP Wednesday ask game?
Kakashi made a low grumbling noise, not really sounding discontent. Haku fell silent regardless, smothering a yawn and closing his eyes. He sighed, nestling deeper into the warmth beneath the fur.
