Hello PS! Long time since I msged u! Not sure if u even rmb me but I still remain a stalker of your blog till date. I thought I just had to send u a msg after seeing all ur ans to the Charade asks. I feel really bad that I didnt read it earlier and give you some feedback on it. I get why u feel that noone likes it since noone is responding on it. I pretty much did a binge read after seeing ur replies coz I really wanted u to know that whatever u are doing is very much appreciated! Contd'

Part 2. I usually start only completed fics coz I cannot handle waiting for the end. Because I am always worried that it would be too good and I would stop functioning like an adult and keep thinking only about this. And u have a history of producing amazing work so I know I am a goner with urs. That’s why I never started it. But now, all holds are off and I am up to date. Before I go on, I want to say that whatever I have read is AMAZING! Contd’

Part 3. Your dialogues and scenes are so seamlessly woven with the actual drama that I do get confused where one stops and the other begins. Like those bangles that she wears. I had to rewatch to check if she did actually. And the latest chapter, I was literally screaming at khushi to not interfere coz it is so obvious how Arnav would have taken it. And thats exactly what happened. Cont’d

Part 4. When ppl reading it get so invested with the story, I really don’t know how u are able to still remain sane while writing it! Kudos to u! Keep writing! Now I have to somehow manage to try distracting myself to not think about the next chapter. IPKKND rewatch begins!

Ahh it was never my intention to guilt people into doing things they wouldn’t normally do! If you’re more comfortable to wait until it’s finished then please do that! I totally understand wanting to read completed fics – when things go on hiatus or the writer gets too busy it can be very frustrating for readers, and now I’m one of those authors who has one fic on hiatus and one going super slowly!

I’m super flattered that you like it! I think that if people can’t tell what was canon and what wasn’t, then I have done my job very well :D Thank you very much for that compliment!! I feel the last chapter went exactly how I’d imagined it – it translated to paper very well!

Literally watched sun's ep coz of both my lovelies had their hair open, with the wind fluttering it and them just staring at each all expectant and hesitant. I can literally watch them on mute man. such pretty on my screen. But shrenu actually needs new clothes,! I understand that she ran away from home but by now she must have enuf time to buy more clothes. What do u think is the last straw for Om to actually confess his feeling? Is it wrong for me to wish that their making up is long drawn?

I KNOWWWWWWW!! Omkara and Gauri give each other takkar in the lambe baal department and seriously..the show should have more scenes where the wind is playing with both of their hair. A major reason why I so loved the scene was solely BECAUSE of the udti zulfen :’)

Gauri and Omkie’s clothes toh ab reuse ho ho ke GHISS gaye hain. They desperately need new stuff in the wardrobe. This is worse than those times when the FLs used to have the same kind of dress but in different colors. Yahan toh gareebi ka ye aalam hai ke hain hi 3-4 suit which get repeated. And the good suits don’t get repeated. I’m still waiting for Gauri’s sleeveless lime green suit to make a comeback. That’s my fav dress for her!

No. Their makeup is being stretched too unnecessarily. I can understand because the writers think once Omkie opens his mouth, they won’t have any issues left to resolve (which pssshhtttt!) which is why Omkara never says anything. I honestly can’t answer what would make Omkara confess his feelings. Cuz Gauri has done everything from leaving the house to almost leaving the world but Omkara still can’t bring himself to SAY what she means to him. So I don’t know what pahaad tod level of dhamaka would make Omkie confess (IF he ever does) Ye bakra “main main” karta hua marr jaega. Like Gauri even I have given up on him ever saying anything. Chalo bole na sahi..I’ll be happy if he just sticks to showing his feels for her (and then crying cuz Queenie ain’t here for this shit anymore)

Why do this to us?! It gives me all the expectation which I am not sure if the show can ever deliver! Considering Gauri is the perfect height for omkara, i keep imagining him put his arm ard her giving her a peck on her temple, all casual like. That is something i can totally imagine this couple doing. Nothing over the top. Just normal coupley things you know! Aarghhh!!

And yaar I know expectations won’t be fulfilled in the show but no harm in headcanoning and imagining stuff. Like I can seeeeee them being the couple who is SOOOO okay with casual skinship. Always standing close, her head resting on his arm, holding hands any chance they get, casual kisses, lots of hugs etc! Everything sweet and cute..the actions not having any sexual implication. It’s just that their bodies are so attuned to each other..they need to be physically close as much as its possible and deemed appropriate in a social setting. HAH! Also imagine Omkie following Gauri around like a puppy for a kiss xD

I can’t also help but think there maybe some symbolism that she’s wearing yellow both times. Yellow is the colour of sunshine and spring. New beginnings. Which is what Shivaay and her are getting. It also stands for freshness, energy, and positivity. I certainly got the vibe that Anika’s managed to build her life up again, from her confident demeanor and handling of the situation. 

But if you notice, she’s wearing a darker, mustard yellow over the bright yellow she was wearing the first time. Which makes me think of the other (darker) side to yellow. It stands for cowardice (”yellow-bellied”) and betrayal. Which is essentially what she did to Shivaay (even if it was a misguided attempt to protect him.) 

I most probably am overanalysing, but this is just something I thought was interesting!

Hello again! Is it me or has hindi dramas just become more open to showing skinship? My only reference is IPKKND btw. But dude, they have been heating up the screens with their sexy times in the eps esp after mahi's reveal. Romancing left right and center. Not that i am complaining or anything. Bring it on!

I don’t really know about other shows since I’m not watching anything else, but I’m definitely loving the scenes they’ve been showing us on Ishqbaaz. Shivaay’s certainly making no bones re: the fact that he’s got lurrrrrrrrrrve on his mind. 😏😏😏 Now if Anika could also just get with the program and do her part! Girl, such a hot husband! How are you not jumping that on an hourly basis? 🤔🤔🤔

I think a lot of it also has to do with the time slot that Ishqbaaz airs in; 10 pm is after all the kiddies have gone to bed, so they can definitely get away with a little more risque stuff than the shows that air earlier. And hallelujah for that. I’m certainly expecting more than just a chaste kiss on the forehead for when Shivaay and Anika finally bang. 🙃🙃🙃 *is taken away by the pervert police*

Hey again! Just saw ur post abt SSO's obsession abt NKK & thought of something. Based on recent eps, it seems SSO just wants to know annika's bg but it doesn't matter to him & i think he says the same in the latest ep as well. Right now she can be anything & he would still accept her as she is. But he just needs 2 know where she came from & somehow i cant fault him for that. I feel Annika's worry abt him digging into her bg is also coz she is worried their relationship might change coz of it.

Yeah, the thing is… It’s not “just knowing”. I completely understand Anika’s worry. Because she and (we) know what Shivaay is like. He may think whatever he finds won’t affect him or their relationship at all, but there’s no way it won’t. Like the knowledge that she didn’t have a family affected him, or like his assumption that she was from the Bajaj family affected him. Even if he does get over it in like, 2 hours (like he did when she discovered she doesn’t know who her parents are), whatever he finds *is* going to affect him, and he’s an idiot who doesn’t know himself even a little, if he thinks otherwise. 

His right to know about her background doesn’t supersede her right to leave that part of her life unexplored. If nothing, Shivaay of all people, who has had the press invade his and his family’s privacy since time immemorial, should understand what it feels like when one’s personal space is not respected and others feel entitled to details of their personal lives. He should just drop it, if nothing, out of basic fucking respect for her feelings.

Random thought of the day. How do u think a convo between maamiji from ippkd and pinky from ishqbaaz go? For that matter any of 2 similar characters like khushi and annika or both daadis? Just curious to know ur thoughts. Thanks!

I think Maami might get a taste of her own medicine (w.r.t her interactions with Buaji) in a convo with Pinky, coz Pinky is infinitely snooty and obsessed with Naam, Khoon, Khaandan. Maami is just snobby out of insecurity and an instinct to protect her children from those who might be interested in them because of their wealth/status, but Pinky’s snobbery comes from a very insidious classist and elitist attitude. 😕😕😕

The IB dadi is relatively cooler and progressive compared to Nani from IPKKND, but I think they’d generally get along based on their common interests in religion and their bachche and their shenanigans. Ya’know, old ppl things. 🙈🙈🙈

Khushi and Anika would get along like a house on fire, because they’re both strong-willed women who are literal human sunshine, married to grumpy softies. Lots of things in common, lots of giggling and commiserating, and all the ~funky language! 😇😇😇(Though let’s hope Khushi doesn’t start her religion waala lecture in an attempt to get Anika to start believing in God. 😐😐😐) 

You know what I’d be more interested in? Arnav holding a conversation with Anika, or Shivaay dealing with Khushi. Imagine the lulz! It’s going to be like that scene where Shivaay speaks on the phone with Gauri, and is like “ek Anika kam thi, jo yeh doosri hindi ki dictionary aa gayi?”  😂😂😂 I’d love to see them struggle with interacting with another woman who’s ~weird~ to them (in her own way), yet kinda familiar and comforting in her overall character and mannerisms, because it reminds them of their own wife.
