Mech pilot story idea thing i guess :>

mech pilot story but it ends up being like a polyamory relationship the mech pilot loves them all, the mech loves the pilot and the mechanic, the mechanic loves the pilot and the mech, and the handler loves the pilot, but the mechanic and the mech hate the handler, the handler hates the mechanic, and is indifferent to the mech.
and it's all a different kind of love.
the pilot loves the handler because it gives them purpose, the pilot loves the mech because with it she is whole, the pilot loves the mechanic because she gives the pilot humanity.
the mech loves the pilot because she was made for her, and with her it is whole (the only case of the same love being shared (which could be subtext on how the mech and the pilot are really only one person, especially with a neural bleed storyline). the mech loves the mechanic because she fixes and maintains it, keeps it company when the pilot cannot, and makes sure the mech can keep protecting the pilot.
the mechanic loves the pilot, from friendship to romance. the mechanic loves the mech because to her it is an artwork, a homunculus crafted for purpose and gained a soul in which it should not of had.
the pilot knows the mind of the mech like no other, while the mechanic knows the substance.
the handler loves the pilot like a tool, for the handler is the hand that guides the blade which is pilot and mech combined, in the name of the company and her career. the handler is indifferent to the mech because for them it is nothing more then steel and lead. the handler hates the mechanic because she refuses to work within time and price limits, and is a cost for the company.
the mech hates the handler because of the danger they put them both into again and again. the mechanic hates the handler because of bad blood, and that to the handler, everyone is a pawn in their success.
