Watching “Shark Beach With Anthony Mackie: Gulf Coast” and seeing and hearing about Anthony’s childhood whilst living in Louisiana made me realize that the MCU version of Sam Wilson is largely based off of Anthony Mackie. Hearing about his humble beginnings, how he and his siblings would go to the levy behind their home, dig up worms and go fishing, hearing about how his Dad built the house they lived in, his interest in fishing and Shark Research, and just…everything makes me appreciate not just the character of Sam Wilson, but Anthony Mackie even more.
He’s a damn good guy and they couldn’t have picked a better man to be apart of the MCU.
not to go crazy over anthony mackie but i really enjoyed shark beach and hope he’ll do something similar with birds in his hometown next!
Yesterday I watched an hour long documentary called “Shark Beach” by Anthony Mackie. Here are some things I learned:
1. What Shark Depredation is.
2. The Scientific name for a black tip shark is Carcharhinus Limbatus.
3. If we don’t get our shit together, the ocean is going to just swallow us up.
4. Anthony Mackie looks good in ANYTHING…. Like really, anything. 😮💨
