So, in the waning times of Mermay, where yet again I regret not making more mermaids, I did something special!
Namely, I adapted the Sharkbunny mascot of that ethical-AI-art-collective I belong to, @are-we-art-yet, and made them a mermaid with digital-traditional art!
A friend of mine said she looks like she "wears a jacket that says nervous on it," and honestly that's a petty great characterization.
As an aside, while the subject of AI art is... controversial, to say the least, I think AWAY is doing pretty good work trying to not only come up with an actual ethical system, but even advancing the theory of making AI art with actual artistic value, and I think that's at least commendable!

The original Sharkbunny is under CC0, so I see no reason not to make my mermaid version as well! Do what you like with her, have fun!
