2018 art summary! While I feel like I didn’t make tremenous progress, I’m at least happy that I’ve been branching out and testing my skills with non-digital media like watercolor paints!

No tattoos at this point, and I’m not really planning on getting any. If I did. it’d probably be something Steven Universe-related, like the quote ‘I think you’re pretty great’. Regardless of what happens with the show, Steven himself got me through a rough part of my life and I’ll always be grateful for that.

1. What is it that compelled you to play your Muse?
I’ll start with a little story: I write my own Webcomic and RP here and on another site– and sometimes, when I get tired of writing, do you know what I do? I shove in comedy and random jokes. On a lot of old Tumblr blogs, I lost my muse because roleplays always got too serious, too repetitive, too angsty or just boring. But guess what? THAT CAN’T HAPPEN WITH DEADPOOL. He is such a spontaneous, random and hyperactive character that if you get bored with a scene, you can have him jump up and do or say something so random it makes both you and your RP partner lose your shit laughing. Deadpool is the exact type of character I created all the time as a kid and is one of my favorite archetypes to write.
I love that even though he is primarily a joke, he is also a character with serious problems and a serious story to back him up. It leaves so much opportunity for story arcs and development, and he’s just flat out a blast to write. Let’s just say if I could become a writer or writer/artist for Deadpool comics, I fucking would. I respect him so much as a character and am enjoying this blog more than I’ve enjoyed any other.
3. Who was your first Tumblr RP Muse/URL?
My first Tumblr RP blog that I actually used was a Renji Abarai blog, a character from Bleach. That was the blog I was active on the longest, going on and off and staying at least fairly active for about three years. The url is “@fukutaicho” and it still exists for anyone to look up if they want to.
I was a lot different back then though. I mean– I was a freaking 13-15 year old. I was in god damn middle school back then and thought school was “fun”. Dear god just remembering that I ever thought that makes me cringe. (high school was an absolute fucking nightmare)
Anyway, the blog was fun and I still hold a place in my heart for Renji. Tumblr RP was a lot more of an adventure back then, with curious and magic anons being a lot more common, and people being more willing to just write random starters for one another without thinking they have to ask or talk OOC first. I miss those days a lot, and would love to see the RP community on Tumblr return to its old carefree and more creative nature. :D

Like, I get you can suplex a boulder but can ya knit a mean blanket? I mean, those blokes know no etiquette! My wee caragor pup likes my yarns so I’ve learned to knit fast and well lest she eats em. Maybe the Elves (assuming I can set foot in their kingdoms) would accomodate me well. There goes Ratbag’s mind again…

Nowhere beckons Ratbag more than the idea of Caradhras. I always was a swooner for fluffy, snowy sights. Or so I’ve heard that there’s snow there. An ol' chap captain from Seregost claimed Mount Doom was snowy lately: so when I got there, all Ratbag got was hot ash that only looked of snow. Shoulda known better. Still feel the scorch on my scalp to this day. Shrakh.

1. Describe your perfect date: time, place, what you’re doing, where you’re going.
“I think I have two different versions of a perfect date actually. One would be staying at home, hopefully for the evening though I wouldn’t be opposed to earlier times. Relaxing about, learning more about each other, playing games, and cooking would be nice. Otherwise, going for a walk through a forested path in the evening and stopping at the edge of a lake to watch the sunset with a picnic, and maybe a hammock would be equally enjoyable.”
