Hey…its been a while !

Kinda crazy im making this post now of all times bc i kiinda left with a lot of vague postings, but I’m doing a lot better now! Actually probably the best Ive ever been !!

Im still into Villanos! I do really wanna continue some of the AUs I did, but hopefully sharing an art dump of some of my new ocs will be ok!!

i managed to play crazy skidlets and sugary district and here’s my thoughts about it:

crazy skidlets was alright, i only completed the first level. the characters were cute especially the raindrop/teardrop one, splash i think was her name? i love how the objectives are very unique rather than just repairing machines such as collecting the portal blocks and getting into the portal towards the next level. i also love how you can hide underneath the bush but i wish that the game allows you to highlight the grimlets when hiding. the title card and thumbnail of the game seems to be very similar to dw’s title card and thumbnail, i wish that the title card and thumbnail was more unique and different apart from dw.

sugary districts was also alright too and i love the combination between crk and dw, even though i never played crk before. the machines are a little too similar to the machines in dw but with different colors and aesthetics, but i love how they also have mixing/spinning machines. i wish that they have more unique objectives like finding parts or tools to fix the machine or an oven if they decide to add it. the colors of the game over screen/inventory slot/skillcheck/etc is very similar to dw as well and i think they should add dark/light/pastel or any type of color they prefer.

any more dw inspired games i should try?

Yo y'all, I'm tired of trying to explain what a delverlike is to the Dandy's world community.

They always instantly think anything sharing the concepts of descending floors by doing tasks while trying to survive enemies was created by dandy's world, when in reality, it has been a genre since 2020, starting from minus elevation.

tbh all I want is to just talk about dandy's world inspired games without everyone thinking it's like a knockoff, and try being happy y'all have two cakes to eat.

Also stop being angry at each other and be like rooms, pressure, grace and doors co-existing with each other peacefully.
