On this day, I would like to remind everyone to take some time and really think about all the good that came of the world because of Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter. He was a pioneer of animal welfare and instilled a sense of respect and understanding towards animals that were, and many times still are, treated like evil, unfeeling beasts. Steve Irwin was an absolutely incredible man, a loving father and a representative of the natural world unlike any other. He provided information that revolutionized how we care for and manage certain animals, both in captivity and in the wild, and even in his passing, he had nothing but honor and respect for the creatures he spent his time with.
Happy 57th birthday, Steve Irwin. ❤💕🐊
