OC-tober Day 6: Sharmila, the Travelling Witch!

Specializes in Healing and Curse Breaking, especially because she’s under one of her own. 

Originally from the land of Laal (red) to the west, she is currently traveling all across the lands looking for a more permanent solution to a curse her mother-in-law placed on her. (MIL is also a witch, Sharmila was her apprentice, fell in love with her son, and when he died MIL blamed it on Sharmila). Currently dating Darshana, though she doesn’t usually get to stay at the palace for too long. They always cast a spell to keep the MIL out while Sharmila is hunkering down, and spend whatever time they can together while the spell lasts.

With Asamani in the palace, she joins Darshana in researching and potentially acquiring a new ingredient. Though Sharmila tends to be more respectful about it than Darshana, who lets her excitement get the best of her at times.

Her henna/mehndi helps keep the curse at bay, though she finds herself reapplying it more and more lately. It would be based on her wedding day design, a symbol of love/joy to help strengthen the spell. This isn’t a final design because 1. I am total balls at details (look everyone would have the appropriate jewelry if I thought my poor hand could draw it all) and B. I’d want to commission someone who knows what they’re doing to make one and not just totally bungle it myself.
