Sharon starts to sit on his lap, looking at his book before looking at him. "Whatcha reading?" She chuckles, knowing he'd probably put the book down now so they can hold each other. "I just want to remind you that you're amazing and that I love you"
As Sharon would sit within his lap he had noticed this as from the very instant that it happened. It hadn't much mattered exactly how interesting of a find that his latest read had been. Whatever of the case in which it would be. Placing the book faced away does he now realize when his eyes landed on the clock over upon the bedside table, he'd almost been reading for an hour. No wonder the words seemed to blur, reshuffle and look like after a while. Sephiroth needed this nice interruption. He felt rewarding of it too.
Gladly he welcomed it. Blinking back a few short moments he turned to her. He could not help but to smile, that same arm he had used before moved to join along with the other to embrace her closer. Only after his hands without the need of asking would better seat her upon him. His arms further extends to shape along a closely enough hug as he kept his gaze upon her. But he paused a few seconds to mentally run over it over with himself before he decided to drone on about details she may not have understood. He didn't think about it too long, so he made a face before giving her an answer. "...Fictional or not, I'm not convinced you'd want to hear about war or politics..." he dismissed himself due to his attempted forced back laughter which later had proven to threaten him a great deal.
If his affection was not tell tale enough, Sephiroth didn't know what would. Him, really? He was amazing? Was she mistaken? How could that have been when he was always called things like 'a bore', 'too serious', a 'hard ass' (which was difficult for him to even managing hear himself saying) or 'grumpy,' or in most cases, 'sardonic'. Had he heard right? He didn't bother thinking of it for too much. Nor any longer than he should. "Amazing? I'm not entirely certain how that fits me, but I'll take it." Inching towards her right, he'd kiss her cheek and then place a peck upon her lips. "I love you too, Sharon." This time he stole a brief, though loving kiss after his usage of physical and both verbal affections.
