It is 23" oal, with an 18.5" blade and 5.5" handle/guard. The blade sits down into the guard about 1/2".
The blade is a 4-bar composite, with 3 of the bars being twisted (about 55% 80crv2, 30something% O1, and the rest 15n20).
The nagel and guard are 60+ layers of 1084 and 15n20.
The handle is ebony.
The octagonal shape of the guard flows around the handle to the pommel. Also, the handle is asymmetrical, deliberately, with the right side swelling somewhat to fill the palm under the nagel. This is a fast blade with serious slashing and chopping ability, and also a wicked point. The false edge is somewhat sharp, and this weapon can deliver back-slashes well.
