It wasn't all that often that Harvey inserted himself where he didn't belong. The sort of trouble that it brought up wasn't worth it. At least not now that he had to worry about his kids and the mess that something like getting involved could cause. But, watching the way that the arrogant, disrespectful pricks had abused and caused headaches for the staff all night had pushed every button that he had remaining. His patience had been particularly thin after the near brawl he had with an equally arrogant student that had nearly caused another to break their neck.
His eyes were focused on the group before him, not glancing in Piper's direction as she came out, for fear of one of the younger guys doing something stupid. Like try to get a cheap blow in. He wouldn't have put it passed any of them.
"You keep your hands to yourself before you find one of them broken." Or worse. That part went unspoken. "Now, I think it's time that you pay up and head out." There were benefits of being recognized, and this would certainly be one of them. His reputation had proceeded him here for his benefit as one of them had realized who they were going to be going up against. Sure, most of his fights were scripted and fake. But, some weren't. Some turned into shoots, and Harvey had always been known as a guy who could hold his own.
