oooh i like this question... probably when i denied my friend when she wanted to hang out, i didn't make up any lame excuse or anything all i said was: 'i don't really want to'. I know that sounds a little petty and not really out of anyones comfort zone but i have an awful time and just saying no and doing whats best for me :3

Hey I just started following your blog after searching the internet for advice on dreadlocks. I really want dreadlocks, unfortunately I was recently hired in a bakery department which requires me to wear a hairnet. Is there any way to fit my hair into such a tiny hairnet? Also how would I go about telling my boss? She's very strict on sanitation and won't even allow facial piercings. Thanks so much and sorry if either of these questions were already asked xxx

Oooooh :T WELLLL, there are a lot of hats/beanies that are specifically for dreadlocks, that are big and hold well. You can probably buy them at head shops or online~

As far as telling your boss, just patiently tell her how you'll keep them out of the way, and how you'll always wear gloves and wash your hands when handling food-related things. Tell her how clean your dreads are, and how while they might look messy and such, contrary to popular belief they're actually extremely clean.

I've never had a job where my dreads were a problem, so if anyone has better advice for this lovely lady here please chime in!

are you okay hun? what happened?

guys suck.. this guy i've been talking to and hanging out with the past month just told me today that he doesn't want a relationship right now because he wants to focus on him and his job and stuff which I totally understand until he tells me he can't even be my friend because he likes me so much that he can't imagine hanging out with me and not being able to kiss me?! Which blows my mind and doesn't make any sense to me but it's whatever I guess.. I just lost someone I really cared about and it sucks, badly :/
