Does Amy Adams Really Deserve an Oscar?

Look, I loved Amy Adams in Sharp Objects. Besides that and Enchanted I’ve never really been into her movies. I always get really annoyed by her fans who in almost every video on YouTube that features her, constantly complain about how she’s underrated and “deserving” of an Oscar. Look I’m all for giving people their props and it sucks when great actors are constantly under appreciated. But Amy Adams is not. She is not underrated. She has been nominated for an Oscar 7 or 8 times and stars in very big Oscar bait movies like every year. How is that underrated? She’s an older beautiful white woman with a lot of star power. When you hear Amy Adams, even if you’ve never seen her work, you know she s a big actress. So please stop saying she’s underrated. That’s like saying Leo DiCaprio pre-Oscar win, was underrated. Not winning an Oscar doesn’t mean you’re underrated. And does she “deserve” an Oscar? Do white people really need more Oscars? Mmm not really. That’s why I didn’t understand why people used to complain about Leo DiCaprio not getting his Oscar. Everybody knew who he was. He was a very famous actor and had been for awhile. There are so many other actors who are under appreciated, who don’t even get nominated for big awards. So sorry, I don’t really feel bad for Amy. I don’t think she “deserves” an Oscar. And how is her winning one going to change anything for her? Like I said she’s a famous white actress in Hollywood and stars in very big movies typically and has been nominated for Oscar many times. She’ll be alright.
