Sharpwin Week 2021 ⤷ day four: favorite tropes (1.01-3.14)

Today's challenge was a bit difficult for me. Choosing just one episode was a feat, but in the end this one won by a margin. Admittedly last 4 episodes of S3 were🔥🔥in the end I could not deny that the angst here was everything for me.

😭😭😭😭 I wish you beloved you when you said that. Actually this whole call is amazing. Her hushed tones and the way she looks away from her boyfriend to semi flirt with her friend🧐🧐🧐

Then THIS!!

The familiarity with which she grabs Max' coffee 🤭🤭🤭 and his reaction🤯🤯🤯. He is so thrown like they share a cup all the time, and he has no idea why she is acting weird. That's LEVELS. Its way too comfortable and I love it.

The way she smiles at him and tilted her head. I just can't🙌🙌🙌. It's all so simple and underated. I loved that scene and it took me a few rewatches to appreciate that moment. Total goofballs

This episode was an emotional roller coaster for this duo. We saw Helen's demeanor shift the moment Akash calls out her thing with Max. And here we see how thrown Max was by the idea of losing Helen.

My favourite thing though is Max fumbling over his words the minute he entered her personal space. He tried to back up and backtrack but that moment was already charged and I know I completed those half sentences with my own tooth rotting fluffy confessions.

Then there's the looks. The way they look at each other like it's a language on its own.

I'm a sucker for the Not quite unrequited love trope/ mutual pining.
