Say what you will about Jashawn in episodes 5-9, but I personally love how we get to see more sides to them aside from their typical anxious or leadership roles!! I love turning points like this that allow audiences to see more of the characters!!

Shawn tries to be a romantic, learning things he sees from Dave and trying to apply them to fix his error with Jasmine. But Jasmine doesn’t take him seriously, which makes Shawn see more ways to try and make it up to her. (First trying open love confession, then flirting, and later trying to be as nice to her as possible) it’s sweet!!

Jasmine on the other hand wants to toughen up more, not get hurt again by people she assumed liked her. Shawn of course does like her, but Jasmine doesn’t know that yet. She leads her team stricter, not really caring how they may feel or what the consequences could be. I mean, Kinosewak is the weaker team of TDPI (Muskwak just has waayy more chemistry), but I find it sweet how Jasmine seems to be much nicer to the women than the men on her team (using topher as a battering ram and wanting max eliminated vs complimenting Scarlett’s ideas and giving Sky romance advice)

But anyways, although we didn’t get a jashawn moment in “This is the Pits!” I feel like it could have had a great moment for one. Don’t get me wrong, the episode is one of my favorites soley for team Muskwak alone!! But imagine if Jasmine where in the mix with Shawn? It doesn’t even have to be for the whole episode, it can just be them seeing each other and Shawn trying to guide her out only for Jasmine to ignore him.

But idk what do you guys think? This is a more analytical post and idk how well I am at explaining things!! ^^
