Had a great time at Shatterdome DC! Met brainbubblegum (quick witted and knowledge spewer, u can see her doodling above) fangirl-extra-ordinaire (intense cherno alpha fan and very super sweet, on a chair above with cool hair) thorsies (maid newt btw she totally got heather and rob to pick her up it was hilarious and also adorable) explodinghye (whose art i raided and got heather and rob to sign hahaha and is way nice sososo nice) hellagayaesthetic (the best random dinosaur and can legit pop out of nowhere, in a beanie in other chair above) feriowind (whose commission is above *-* so cute omg) and tons of others!! It was a small con full of amazing people and an awesome opportunity! Got to meet the Legendary film guys who made a lot of the jaeger pilot tech, three Boba Fetts (drunk and sober) and some other neat guests whose names i have forgotten oops But these guys are all waaaaay super talented and you should check them all out! Also there will be Shatterdome Seattle i hear alienfirst is helping put together, in May! And Shatterdome Atlanta again in June! Cheers! -kurama

and related to that reblog, where exactly is the con itself? i went to the site about it but can't find it? all i see is the hotel people are recommended to stay at.
Is anyone looking for a room for Shatterdome con?
I booked a room assuming my friends would be going with me, but I'm going by myself now. Anyone willing to split the costs with me?
I was really hoping to try and make it to Shatterdome DC, but I just checked on the website and tickets are $75???? That's a huuuuuge red flag for a first time con for me. I'm happy they have so many great guests already but damn. Way out of my budget, and a very high ticket price for any first time con to have.
I really want to bring Otachi to a pacific rim con argh!! why is atlanta so far away??
