Okay so Spyder wasn’t the best at playing ‘subtle’ or being ‘stealthy’. He had built in speakers and was more engineer than anything else after all. And okay he liked to listen to music while he worked...and mostly he liked listening to his music LOUDLY while he worked. He really didn’t see a problem with it most of the time. Particularly if he could get away with working on a solar energon generator while dancing a little. So he may...may have been wiggling his hips to a tune when he looked up and spotted the other brightly colored mech. His music stopped with a screech of static and he ducked back in embarrassment, face as warm as a jet’s engine. “Frag! Pinche de dios!” he swore before he peeked back up and gave a nervous little wave. “Uh...hey...sorry. You startled me. Can I uh...can I help you?” he asked.

“The vents don’ have cameras an’ I ain’t so great at opening locked doors.” Although he hadn’t bothered to check if any of the doors were locked, he’d just assumed they would be. Nobody locked up the vents. 

The red mech straightened up, stretching his arms up and over his head to get the kinks out. Winglets on his back twitched, flicking up into an alarmed state, and he froze at the femme’s question. He slowly turned towards her, flashing a charming, albeit toothy grin. He may have placed his hands deliberately over the small Autobot brand on his chest, knowing damn well he couldn’t afford being outed now. 

“...would ya believe me if I said some mechs jus’ can’t take no for an answer, lass? I jus’ need to stay for a small bit o’ time, I won’t be a bother. Promise! Names’ Synchronic, but you can call me Syn. I only let the cute ones call me Syn.”

He’d been jumping from ship to ship, stowing away in cargo holds and living in vents for so long, he’d seen nothing wrong with slipping into a cargo crate to spend the cold night in. It had been full of lab equipment, big bulky type things for running data - at least that’s what he assumed - with just enough space at the bottom for him to curl up. These sort of crates had tarps in them to keep their contents dry, and it was easy enough to hide beneath it and use his own thermal blanket to keep warm.

The trouble was, by the time he’d woken up, the crate was no longer on the docking bay he’d first seen it on.

Slowly pushing open the lid, Conduit peered out into the room. It looked empty. The crates must have just been delivered, and no one had gotten in yet to empty them out.

Perfect! The little yellow mech would just swing a leg out of the crate and hop on out - only to crash into the hard floor below, as the crate had been placed on a rather tall table. Letting out a soft groan, his single yellow optic stared up at the ceiling while his claws probed at his helm and - ow, ouch. That was most definitely a dented audial fin, and his shoulder now had a nice big dent too. It hurt to move the arm, and all movement of the fin was completely halted by the dent - it sort of felt like trying to move a broken hand.

Wait. Was that the door opening? Frag, he had no where to hide!
