@shatterpatchs-hopeclan so, this blog has only TOUCHED on the topic of religion and death and afterlife, but i saw the prompt and wanted to try my paw at a shatterpatch design anyway! (Especially since the clan guide in Anemochory is currently alive ;v; and plus I like having the chance to share the religion that I prefer to go with for my Clangen runs over a formal Starclan)
SO: essentially, death melds the cat with the natural world around them. Everything in nature has its own spirit- in birth, peices from spirits of the world around form the soul of a cat, and in death, these souls rejoin the spirit they had split from. Shatterpatch in the world of Anemochory would not only be more akin to a god, but would probably have also essentially consumed the entire clan. Something something autocannibalism- while ordinarily multiple cats DO form spirits, the spirits also tend to reshape only for those that knew individuals in it. Therefore, only Shatterpatch is visible... even if never truly alone. And usually I steer away from stereotypically angel-like imagery, but in this case, I think using the appearance of something mystic and holy to farther drive in the "please you can't leave me I have no one else" is a fun idea.
Anyways, for some extra: Waterfalls pour from Shatter's glowing eyes, pooling to create lakes to make rivers to dig gulleys to form canyons to split the world apart.
