Always nice seeing good things happening to good peeps. In case you’ve been sleeping under a rock the past few days: my friend and (Instagram guitar phenom) @guitarbyash has a new EP out, and it’s a really fun listen. Before we continue, let’s acknowledge the 2018 American Pro Strat HH Shawbucker on the cover of the EP, there, shall we? 😀 I admittedly had totally forgotten this tidbit, but Ash reminded me that that particular guit sprang from a gear advisement convo we had had a few years back when her IG presence was just starting to gain steam. The EP itself is a treat: solid and creative songwriting, and Ash keeps true to her ‘80s-rock-inspired roots throughout. (Although you’d likely *never* guess it from hearing my own playing, I’m actually quite the ‘80s-rock and ‘80s-metal aficionado as well.
