He passed away today, the 6th of Jamadul Akhir 1437, January 2016, in Makkah Al-Mukarramah. Our Shaykh Shah Muhammad Saied, may Allah Ta'ala elevate his status in Jannat-ul-Firdaws was a true Sufi in his humility, kindness, steadfastness upholding the balanced line of Sufism in that part of the world. He sacrificed and sacrificed all his life and is credited for the revival of Sufism, push for knowledge and ilm-based Sufism, and an attitude of altitude and servitude. The departure of such pious servants of Allah Ta'ala who devoted all their life, breaths, resources, families, and everything they have for the Khidma of the Deen, is surely a sign of Qiyamat and that less Khayr exists in the world today.
