This was far from the first time Lysirae had teased him with blown kisses, she had begun to make a habit of doing so when she was leaving him for the day, though this was the first time it was so extensive. He had even smiled at the start, only for the floating swatch of her lips to catch him by surprise! Blue eyes went wide as that magic hit his cheek, imparting him with the sensation of an actual kiss, his face growing a rather dark shade of red in the process. And then it faded, much to his disappointment. Wait, disappointment? His eyes went wide as he realized how he was feeling at that moment, staring at her as if she had promised to run him over with a hippogryph. Finally, he managed to find his tongue, covering his prolonged reaction with a cough. Though, not without words to accompany shortly after. "That was...new." By the Light, was his face still red? It certainly felt like it! Without thinking about it, his hand gingerly touched the cheek her magic kiss had touched, as if to savor the sensation.

　　　　Sarsi watched with barely suppressed laughter as a guy came rushing to the rescue, offering to buy another cone to replace the one she’d dropped. Ah, the power of the bikini and the beach. Truly a marvel to watch. The guy, seeing that Sarsi had no ice cream either, offered to buy her some. She politely declined.

　　　　“I like how the guy didn’t even bother to check if you even had a cone in the first place,” Sarsi said with a grin. “Think it would work if you had said martini instead?”

The elf drawled lazily, her fingertips pressed lightly beneath Clive's chin to tilt his head upwards so that their eyes could meet. Her thumb moved soft along the stubble his cheek for but a moment before slender fingers carded sweetly through his hair. As she set free a hum, her touch glided along the side of his throat and ended once she had felt the miniscule flesh revealed by the slight opening of his shirt. "That is how friends address one another--by first names, yes?"

It wasn't all that surprising that she asked to be called something more informal, she wouldn't be the first. It was, however, a bit of a surprise to feel her finger under his chin, directing his gaze upward so he was to meet her eyes. The trailing touch along his jawline after that, and the subsequent brush of her fingers through his dark locks, he had to make a point of keeping his breathing in check. Though, that was ruined as her fingers trailed down his throat, able to feel his heart hammering away as if it were trying to burst.

It wasn't until her finger reached the last bit of skin he exposed that his brain could function again, blinking once, twice, before he finally spoke. "Lys, then." Light, his face felt hot. By now, he was sporting a small smile at least. "Wouldn't want you to think we were anything less." He had to wonder if there was any business that brought her to the hideaway, or if she was there simply to amuse herself. "What brings you out here?" Might as well ask, right?

Every now and then, he liked to flip through the reports personally. Otto normally took care of such things, Gaute shifting through the rest, but Clive had to lay eyes on them sometimes, to better understand what was going on in the rest of the world. Charging into a situation blindly wasn't good planning, and he had people underneath him to consider now, just as he had been trained to do since he was but a boy.

Now, if only he could focus on reading those reports!

He could feel eyes on him, on and off for some time now, and it made it increasingly hard to focus. Finally, Clive had little choice but to glance up from his papers and see who it was that was staring him down.

Lysirae sat before him, the elven woman immediately meeting his gaze from the second he looked up from the reports. He could feel his face grow hot as there was no other way to describe that look as adoration. And she didn't look away either. A nervous smile crept onto his lips, giving a brief wave of a hand in greeting before finally speaking up. "Lady Lysirae, a pleasure to see you." A brief pause, filled with the ruffling of papers as he set them on the table. "Is there something I can...help you with?"

She had said that she merely need a moment in the tower, searching for something the previous occupant had left behind. What was odd though, is that she bid him wait outside. Perhaps she had something to hide, or it was something personal to her? Curiosity burned within his mind, trying to figure out what it was she hunted for in this abandoned tower she had sought out. Koltira waited patiently though, finding no need nor desire to intrude upon what it was Lysirae was doing, though he found little to do as he waited, finding himself just surveying the landscape in the time that he had.

Perhaps he would have been lost to the view for quite a good deal longer before he heard Lys calling out to him, obviously from the balcony of the tower considering he could barely hear her. Turning about, his gaze ventured up the tower to indeed find her standing near the top, leaning over the balcony for a moment before disappearing and leaping off of it!

Panic immediately gripped his heart, blue eyes going wide as he immediately tried to figure out how to catch her, about to bolt and try to position himself to catch her, only to finally notice she was descending much slower than a person should! A sigh of annoyance slipped his lips when he remembered that she had the float spell on hand, of course, she would leap from the balcony instead of walking down like a normal person would. He was half tempted to let her float into whatever mess on the ground she was over, but before she was even close he had begun to move. Turns out, he wasn't willing to listen to her complaints about not catching her as he should have.

Soon, Koltira stood beneath her, arms out and waiting for her as if this had always been the plan. It took another minute or so for her to finally float the rest of the way down, landing perfectly in his arms as if that had been her intention from the very start. Those eyes of blue lichfire looked down at her, a less than amused expression on his face as he did so. "I think it would have been quicker if you had taken the stairs."

He hates these events. They're stuffy and overly official, and he's always ducking out of the way of cameras before anyone can get a glimpse of his face. He's spent years staying under the radar of the public, and he has no intention of breaking that streak just because they (the oh so important top agents) had been invited to some important gala.

The only good thing was asking Lysandra to come along with. She made for a good distraction to his boredom and disinterest. The champagne flute is just at his lips when she speaks, and he smirks as he takes one last sip. It widens when he turs to her, brows arching in that way that preludes dangerous ideas.

"I could think of a few more to add to your list," Leon says, leaning in close to her. His voice is low. "And I could cross them off just as quickly. But you'll have to follow my lead first."

"Can there be one without the other?" It is not a confrontational reply, by any means. A complementary thought, though one to which Alleria knows well what her answer would be. "Love without truth doesn't seem to me like love at all."

What does that say of one who had kept so many secrets from a lover? What does it say of said lover, so intent on pretending not to see what was right in front of him?

The ranger looks away; watching the scenery, perhaps, or staring at nothing in particular, merely avoidant in an attempt not to allow the faintest flicker of emotion to be seen (Is there even love left between them to consider, thorns or not?). "You aren't wrong, though. Truth can be hard, and people aren't always willing to face it. The flowers are so much more pleasant than the thorns, after all."

How the grin SPLITS his face like a peach gone rotten in the sun. Surprisingly rare was it to find the Conjuror and Deathlord sharing space, time, breath ( ha ) without a horde of monsters bearing down upon them to muddy the conversation. He was determined to take advantage while he could.

Let it never be said Zoen Mith ignored opportunity. Particularly those crackling with such arcane potency...

More than likely, it was a genuine inquiry and not a threat, though Shadowcaller would be forgiven ( so to speak ) were she to presume otherwise. The corpse wore such a pleasant expression, as though they were already colleagues trading notes ahead of an exam.
