It's a shame Grace Chasity is an evangelical Christian because the way she interacts with her faith truly does read as a Catholic teenager when they're taking their confirmation classes and feel the need to overcompensate or play up their faith to receive validation or be viewed as a good person because at that moment in time everyone in their life feels like they're constantly scrutinizing their every move or trying to drag them towards temptation, even when normally their own beliefs or actions do not naturally manifest in that way.
#grace chasity to me reads as a girl who is trying to force a connection with God#because she is realizing that she doesn't really have one and everyone around her expects her too#in her moment of need she determines that her faith is not enough#she's angry#she feels forsaken#she doesn't know how to forge an actual connection with God#nobody taught her#so she does what she's told#and expects it to be enough#she mimics#she doesn't really have any beliefs of her own in regards to her faith#so she twists her morals and faith with no qualms#it's what's expected of her#so when she feels that her faith fails her#she lashes out#let's go of her inhibitions#tries to cling on to the little she has until she ultimately sacrifices it#catholic grace chasity means a lot to me#it just makes sense#like do you guys see the vision#do you guys get what I'm getting at#or am i just tripping#nerdy prudes must die#npmd#grace chasity
