pulling up playlists you made as a teenager is a sure fire way to send you reeling through the passage of time
"holy shit is that numberblocks!!!"
*all numberblocks turn to look at numberblock 17, and the 17 theme starts playing*

Just Joyce flinching the first time Hopper raises his hand a little too fast and he sees the flash of fear in her eyes and spirals because holy shit, she thought he would hit her

“you’re gonna be the last man standing.”
“you’re gonna miss me so bad when i’m gone.”
and daryl hated how right beth greene was. he hated how much of an impact a teenage girl would have on his life. she really helped him see the good in people, and appreciate the seemingly insignificant things in life that he’d usually look past. he never would’ve thought a sheltered christian girl could be so right about him. and the fact that she could see through him so well, it made him feel so vulnerable, but in the best way - like he was meant to be seen all along. beth helped daryl to see life in a broader range of color.
he hated how right a young girl could be. and he hated how much he missed her and her effervescence toward the positive prospects life had to offer.
because he never had the luxury of developing the mindset that she had when he was her age.
daryl dixon missed beth greene — so, so much.

I found out this morning that my family's cat Pepper was dying and my mom sent me photos of my dad and brother saying goodbye to her while she's wrapped in a little blankie and I was trying not to cry in the parking lot at my dodgeball tournament and I had to shove all my feelings aside and we won and went for drinks after to celebrate and now I finally get to cry in the car on the way home
"cate blanchett singing and dancing at hey hey it’s Saturday in 1986"
according to the person's original post she did say something like "it's your birthday you should get something nicer" before she gave them the money, seemingly implying she did not intend for them to spend it at chipotle, but i think everyone just collectively ignored that part bc the idea of her giving someone $90 for chipotle was funnier lmao
The girl says she lives on Long Island. She and her friends took the train in for the day. “That’s cute,” Swift says. “Are you going to dinner somewhere?”
The girl scrunches up her face. “We were going to . . . Chipotle?”
Swift smiles. She goes to her purse and pulls out a wad of cash – $90, to be exact. “Here,” she says. “Go somewhere nice.”
“Oh, my God,” the girl says. “Thank you!” She climbs back in the boat, and she and her friends paddle off.

this whole thing is so out of touch and cringe on taylor's behalf. i'd be offended if someone gave me $90 after saying my trip to the city was "cute" and i was getting chipotle for lunch.
but also, the girl ended up going to chipotle still i'm pretty sure
