i don't know if it's just me but i don't agree with the take that lauren is immobile -- i think some have y'all simply haven't watched her play enough.
she's crafty, tough, and has a really high basketball iq in my humble opinion. (and she's fast for 6'7 with some pretty good footwork and good reaction time). she understands her role on her team well, which translates to a lot of posting up, and of course, her height is a huge advantage at the college level, but i don't doubt that she'll adapt well to the w. it'll take time, of course, but she's a fantastic center and will continue to be so in the future. and she's dedicated to improving her game and has continued to do so each offseason.
TL;DR: you can be a fan of other players and also acknowledge that lauren is talented, and if she does go first in the draft, it will be well-deserved.
