I imagine that Tseng’s lost so many Turks in his short years, under his own command, under the command of others, it doesn’t matter its all the same. So when a new Turk joins, he glues them to his hip until he thinks they’re ready. Until he can look away for two seconds and not worry about them taking a fatal hit. Which also means that he adds scars to his body, leaping into the path of danger to save the fledgling.
Which makes me happy because Elena. She’s the newest, and he’s constantly fretting over her, has her at his side every second he can have her there, and it only fuels her crush all the more. Unrequited love? Maybe. She is cute though. Hella cute.
