Vis wasted no time. The moment he was alone with Calliope, when he knew the interruptions ceased, he didn’t hold back. 

He set his legs on either side of her, taking her face in his hands, and leaned in to meet her lips. In this proximity, Calliope’s scent filled his senses. Her taste came second when he went in again, and again. Each time fierier than the last, burning like a flame in their chests. When Calliope broke for a breath, he took it. No moment wasted. There would be time to breathe after. 

He pressed his body to hers, pushing her back further in the couch until her head craned back and he had his weight against her. In that moment, it was just them and their breaths.

Finally, he slowed his pace. Hot breaths caressed their lips before he pressed his lips to hers once more. This time, passion fizzling into a gentle touch. 

“Mmm, your lips are really warm.” he hummed against her lips. 

Vis pulled back, craning her head to face him as he did so. When they were eye to eye, he took in her expression, like admiring art. The glowing florid color painted over her face with lips red like an apple he could taste again.  

 A smirk grew in his cheeks, “Aw, you’re blushing like a rose.” he cooed, tilting their head in the light to get a better look. Also to tease her, just a bit.

This new alone time would be their treasure.
