Olli and you met by literally running into each other. He was running to practice and you were speed walking to your own job, and that led to one of the best mistakes of your life so forth. Olli felt so bad and insisted on taking you out for a coffee to compensate for his clumsiness, which you were delighted to agree to, and you’ve been inseparable ever since.
That doesn’t necessarily mean your relationship was platonic. On your end, at least. You’ve been hopelessly in love with him since your sorry eyes took in all six feet and two inches of a Finnish hockey player.
He’d been gone on a particularly long two week road trip, which was unfortunately along the west coast, as well, and you’d missed him far too much. As soon as you saw him walk into the theatre, you careened right into his chest and wrapped your arms around him tightly.
“Someone missed me.” He breathes out with laughter peppering his tone. His arms delicately pull you closer and you breathe in his cologne. “We’re going to be late for the movie, come on.”
While you got tickets and concession, he told you all about his trip, the jokes with his teammates, the games themselves, and the goals he scored. Before you knew it, you were scrambling to find your seats before the movie started. The two of you finally sat down as the opening credits began, and you focused on the words appearing on the screen and the song playing instead of the man beside you who was indefinitely staring at someone else instead of the movie.
It took you five or ten minutes to finally crack. You swivelled your neck to ask him what was going on. Instead, you’re caught off guard by big doe eyes staring at you pleasantly with a warm smile. “Why are you looking at me like that?” You ask while your heart starts hammering in your chest and your cheeks flush.
“Nothing.”
Olli leans closer to you, his elbows on your armrests, his face inches away from yours. “Your lips are getting awfully close to mine.” You whisper. He closes the gap between the two of you and before you know it, your hands are running through his blond hair and you’re pulling him closer as both of you kiss each other like you’ll never be able to again.

I’m from Ottawa, so I’ve been to Sens games all my life. This year, I went to the Tampa game in January and then Buffalo and Islanders last month!!
