Shed update

So 1 rack of 5fts has been moved, the pond is emptied and moved out and a 6ft has been moved ready for the 10fts arrival

Only the other rack of 5fts and the other 6ft to now be moved.

Shed update.

The new racking for the back wall arrived yesterday, today i will be painting it, then moving to shed for assembly and placement.

One 3 tiered set of tanks arrived as well, the tiered stand is also getting painted today, then the tanks themselves will get a bit of love, the backs/sides cleaned and painted.

I can then start filling the tiered rack and move some fish into them temporary while i clean their permanent tank and paint the stands....

Gonna be a busy day!

Shed update

So i got the quote to do the power to and in the shed....not too bad considering the work that is to be done. I have a fair bit of the money but hopefully will have the total by next month, It certainly isnt cheap, but it will be worth it once its finished

UPDATE.

A change of direction in the fishroom is in progress currently.

*Being rehomed tomorrow are

All the oscars, Dan the devil, the synspilum male and female, the super green texas male and Brutus the flowerhorn

*The 10ft getting a change of stock

*Malachi and the silver dollars are moving to a 6ft tank

*The polleni are moving to their own tank

*The jewels are moving to a different tank

*The neon blue acara are moving to a different tank.

*The severums are moving to a different tank

*The mudskippers have moved to a smaller tank

*The multi shellies are moving temp while I move their tank to a lower spot in the shed

*The old acara tank is moving to a lower position in the shed. It will be changing to a marine tank. Spike, Woofer and Elvis will be moving to this tank

*The 6ft marine will be getting new inhabitants (as now Spike isn't there to eat them!!) and a rescape (some sand/rock going to new marine)

*Draco and Fizzgig will be moving from a 5ft tank into a 4ft tank

*The new Thai silk flowerhorn will be getting its own tank.

*Satan and Angelus will be getting their own perm home.

Shed Update

The shed has power!! Now we just gotta get some dollars together to get insulation and the lining boards. Once the shed is lined the electricians will be back again to do the lighting. Then its onto painting and deciding how and what sort of tank racking to do. I can buy commercial racking or get someone to build custom racking, haven't decided yet.

Shed Update

The shed has now been wired up, just gotta wait for them to come back and hook it all up to the mains power, and add all the powerpoint sockets in and lights. Then we can start insulating and lining it. Getting there!!
