Hot take!!! I think yall are overrating ocellus inteligence... lemme explain
I rlly disliked the whole scene with number π not bc the creature may know the number but bc it implies that the ocullus somehow knows the arabic numeral system which makes sense imo only if it can storage some of information possessed by its previous victims... (also its sooo stupid to show sm1 u r unsure can write a number by writing it!!! Like u can show fingers or smh- like u literally do to human children!!!!)
But I also had diffrent perspective watching it... bc at the time of watching i did not know what the next digits should be
And so what I saw was the sheep stomping once- boy getting excited- the ocullus noticing his reaction then stopmping some more, taking shit and then getting frustrated and started bleating...
