Oh gosh, okay...
So I am really really in love with The Book Thief right now. Ugh, it just gives me so many feels, especially Rudy!! In lieu of spoilers, I'll just ramble about how perfect I think the movie itself was. Like Geoffrey Rush was amazing as Hans, he's such a warm and caring figure. And the boy who played Rudy was the most adorable child I've ever seen. AND Sophie Nélisse as Leisel? SHE WAS FANTASTIC. Ugh, such a cutie and she really captured her well.
And it was refreshing to see a movie set during WWII that wasn't projecting war as a "moral" victory for the Allies, but instead showed the humanity of the German people and the horror of war and terror bombing. The Boy in the Striped Pajamas did this as well, but in a different setting.

how is that bragging?? idgi? I mean, if you look at it that way, then you could say that for all the houses! like ooh you think you're brave or whatever. it's dumb.
and that's awesome! ravenclaw is awesome! (it's my favourite house tbh!) most of the time when I do sorting tests or whatever, they give me the option between Ravenclaw and Slytherin! but Ravenclaw kind of scares me because you have to answer a riddle to get in, so technically any smart person from any other house could get in and also what if I couldn't answer the riddle??? I would be the Neville of Ravenclaw (3rd year Neville especially)!! it would be embarrassing and I would banish myself to Hufflepuff.
