Think about how Caleb has a tendancy to be more vulnerable emotionally while polymorphed. Think of how he also can accidentally use telepathy and now I just want to see Essek saving his sheep ass and suddenly be bombarded with telepathic wishes to be pet and snuggled by Essek. Or maybe Essek gets hurt and suddenly a deep distress bursts into his mind as well as the single minded focus of a raging sheep who wants to ram the shit out of some baddies. Perchance he is trying to get the healers to focus on his ~kryn colleague~ and accidentally casts deep feelings of caring affection for Essek into their brains and they just make eye contact with each other about it. The potentials are endless.
