just woke up today to find that my blog has been restored (without any email from tumblr support informing of anything, wth??)

my mind is completely frazzled right now, and there’s a million things i need to do (not to mention a million things i need to try to back up ASAP in case the blog goes down again for any reason), but one thing i really wanted to say before i go on a mad race to start backing everything up:

thank you everyone for your help and support this whole week! whether you refollowed me on @sheerc  when you found out that this was my temporary home, or emailed/messaged support on my behalf to ask them to restore @sheercompulsion, or sent me all these amazing overwhelming messages of care and support -- all these made me feel really loved and extremely resolved to remain in this fandom no matter what happens, in order to always be surrounded by awesome loving people like you!

Were you able to recover your blog long enough to at least back-up? Is there anyway to transfer content to this new one? Being a great hockey source aside, I can't imagine losing so much personal stuff and a timeline of my life, essentially. Best of luck to you in dealing with Tumblr officials!

ahahaha nope /o\ tumblr terminated my account again less than one day after it restored it the first time. I THOUGHT I’D HAVE MORE TIME ;_____;

I think you should just move on TBH. It's not like losing followers is going to kill you.

hi anon! i wondered if i should post this but i just wanted to make this clear:

losing all my followers in the other blog hurt, not even gonna lie about that. but at this point, for me, it’s not about my followers count. it’s about the six ish years i put into that blog, and all the posts and content on it, and the way i tagged and “organized” things there in ways only i could understand, probably, and all the asks/messages i’ve received and kept/replied to. that blog was a record of my life for the past six years, and it sucks that it’s gone  just like that.

Maybe some of us could start badgering them as well? Anything to help you get your account back.

some really kind people have messaged me about this, and i’m not sure if this is something we should do. mostly because i don’t want anyone getting caught in the crossfire or something, but also because i’m kinda embarrassed to get people to do this for me ahaha

so it’s been five ish days now since my account was terminated, and i’ve sent support approximately three emails/messages asking them to restore it or just get back to me…and nothing.

i’m seriously at a loss about what to do next. do i keep badgering them? or do i just take it as a sign that i’m never going to get that account back and move on?

Hi. I just wanted to say that I'm sorry tumblr was an ass and deleted your blog. It was my fave and I'm so sad to see it go. I was also wondering if your offer to send deleted fics was still on?

hiii! i actually did manage to salvage some of my old posts when my blog went down, and my hockey fic recs was one of them. they can now be found HERE.

hey everyone (again)

nadie here. formerly (will hopefully still be soon, come on tumblr) sheercompulsion.

tumblr has once again terminated my account. i’m really starting to doubt that it was an accident >:( i’ve messaged them the moment my blog went down but they have yet to get back to me 

i’m just starting up this new blog just so people know i’m alive and i haven’t left lmao

i’m hoping this blog is just temporary, but i’m in the process of re-following all the people i used to follow. but i’m definitely forgetting a lot /o\ please hit me up, especially if we were mutuals!
