So, I hope you remember the Convo we had about Smriti, Shafali and Pratika being Sourav-Sachin, Sachin-Rahul and Rahul-Sourav kids respectively na??
So I have some more lore I wanna add to it. And it is all related to this one guy called Amol Mazumdar.
(if you don't know who he is, lemme introduce him real quick. He is basically the Indian Women's Cricket team's head coach and is like the Dad of the team. He is also, incidentally, the guy who was set to bat after Sachin or Kambli in that historic innings of theirs, in school. He is also called the greatest Indian player to never play for India. And I absolutely adore him).
So, like can you imagine, Amol co-parenting these girls with the polycule?? Like he and Sachin were friends when they played together and continued to be friends afterwards too.
Like he is the one responsible for Pratika's introduction to the team, so imagine Amol calling Sachin one day to give the girls a pep talk. And like Sachin is busy so he sends Rahul in his stead. And Rahul notices this girl of barely 25 batting and like most of her shots look like they have come out of the textbook he used to coach in the U19 setup. So he just observes the batter and when Amol comes up to him, a little formal, but generally friendly, since Sachin loves to bring up his husbands. And like shocks Rahul out of the trance he was in, because he was genuinely so engrossed in Pratika's batting. And Amol is like, "I actually was about to call you once day just so that you could observe her". And like Sachin has found his clone in Shafali and Sourav has found his clone in Smriti, so Rahul is like, "can I take a session with her?? I just wanna observe her and correct some minute mistakes" and Amol is pleased because this was his whole plan.
And like can you imagine Amol calling either Sachin or Sourav when Smriti is overworking herself? Or like calling Rahul or Sachin when Shafali is not eating properly or Rahul and Sourav when Pratika gets injured??
And like the polycule threatening to tell Amol, if like Smriti sleeps too long, or Shafali is sleeping too late because of her call with Renuka or if Pratika isn't taking care of her injuries???

Like Ofc Amol would have a master plan that ended in Rahul meeting and coaching Pratika.
Also can you imagine how excited Pratika would be to meet Rahul and she'd be all formal with him at first and he'd be no, no need for all that. And then little by little they'd become so close. Rahul recognizes that Partika, like him, tends to not take care of injuries so he always makes sure to keep tabs on her injuries and tells her not to overwork herself and let the injuries heal. Amol always tells on Pratika when she's isn't taking care of her injury so Rahul talks to her because she listens to Rahul more than anyone.

-> like imagine Amol notices that Shefali isn't eating properly and he calls Sachin/Rahul and they talk to her about it and explain why taking care of herself is important and slowly coaxing her to eat.
-> Sourav would drill it into Smriti to not overwork herself and just chill sometimes. Sourav would also make Smriti less shy as she got older, more comfortable with herself. Ofc he'd help her with batting and Sachin would tease Sourav by saying Smriti's a better bat than him to which Sourav would agree and Smriti would get all embarrassed
-> Rahul would always threaten Shefali with telling on her if she slept too late because she was talking to Renuka. Sachin would just laugh at her trying to deny it and tell her to confess
