We're always on the hunt for Vietnamese food because it reminds Vee of being in Vietnam with her family and I just like to see her happy little face while she chats away about her family and also I'm an asian food whore to be honest. Anyhow, we found this little family run Vietnamese restaurant in Manchester called @vnam_mcr and oh hell don't we love it. Food they serve is fresh, clean and flavoursome. Special fried rice was nice and fluffy not your usual greasy chinese-y fried rice. It was so goddamn good. Vee had the stew, it was delicious and also not fatty or greasy nor was it gravey or thick like most stews. The spring rolls looked and tasted it was actually handmade as I know all the frozen ones that chinese wholesalers and supermarkets have and all the vegetables they have inside them cause I'm a freak. Staff were friendly, pleasant and very helpful probably because its family owned small business and they actually care about the customers and their staff. Yeah... so much for saving fucking money 😩 This little 'Katsu place' as we call it. Does the most delish katsu chicken ever and only £6.50 and comes in a huge rameny kind of bowl!!! They also have some fresh looking sushis to take away as well for luncheons to take to their office and pretend to do some work but really most people think about what they gonna have for tea. This place is called "Let's Sushi' on Division street, Sheffield and delivers as well. Vee had Katsu rice for £6.50 which is the one with eggs on it. After playing tourist around London for few days. We suffered from extreme asian comfort food cravings. So we went to the 'Broccoli cafe' as we call it but reallt its @noodleinncentro. They have some serious Chinese food that is reasonably priced with decent portions yet so satisfying for the soul of 2 hungry asian bitches. I had my favourite wild garlic and pork in chilli and garlic sauce (all looked fresh) and Vee had her favourite crispy pork belly on bed of cabbage and rice with soya sauce from the 'Big plate menu' cost around £8 including rice/noodles. Also, our usual broccoli in garlic sauce to share hence the name. Ugh! I love this place, food is so so good. I could probably cook at home but I'm a lazy bitch. The cafe itself nothing fancy but service is quick and simple. Great for lunch as the food comes quick and waitresses don't fuck about and start uncalled useless conversation about where we're from or about our tattoos which was what we wanted at that time.
