I had many different reactions to my Blue Cheese Ice Cream. Expected. Some people texted me about it. I was told it was creative and inspiring. Some told me to STOP. Lol. But, I have to think outside the box. Not to say I invented blue cheese ice cream but, I was inspired by other non traditional ice cream flavors. Any foodie, chef or cook would welcome this kind of creativity. Also, homemade ice cream is much different than store bought. Store bought is filled with air to increase volume. Homemade has no air or stabilizers so, it's much more creamy with a smoother texture. Have you ever been "gassy and bloated" after eating store bought ice cream? Of course, the air has to go somewhere. So, just know that I'm pushing myself to be a great chef and have the respect of foodies and chefs alike.
