It wasn’t that he was against trick or treating as a concept. He just felt like maybe they shouldn’t be taking away from kids when they could easily go get their own. Or steal it - he’d be more down for that, to be honest.

oscar rubbed his gloved hands together as he walked into the bordes house, tailed by his youngest. weather had little effect on his business and despite the cold, they still had work to do. he pulled his gloves from his hands and the hat off his head, flipping on the coffee maker in the kitchen. “you know the drill.” he informed barrel as he shrugged out of his jacket. “clothes in the laundry room, yeah? you want somethin’, i’m making coffee.” @fckbernardo

when it came to holiday traditions daphne does her best to divide the bulk of the activities amongst her friend group, purposely making sure she gets quality time with each of them where she can. this year she saved her favorite activity for velma, something that should surprise next to no one. baking holiday cookies was a must -- and daphne ensured that they’d bake enough cookies to give to their other friends as well as more than enough for shaggy. “oh nooooo,” she complains, high pitched noise coming out of her mouth as she looks down at the mess of dough in front of her. “i messed up!” daphne waves velma over, frowning down at the little elf whose head she accidentally cut off. “i killed him.” @jinkiesdinkley

seeing vidia in the sexy santa costume, tink couldn’t help but roll her eyes. not like she could really judge, considering she absolutely would have worn something similar if mabel hadn’t given her the ugly christmas sweater, but for some reason seeing vidia dressed like this just made her seem tacky. “merry christmas, vid,” she replies, looking away from her friend and around at the rest of the party. “down for some holiday shots?” @10kvidia

shaking the box in their hand up against their ear, riley let out a small hum. “well it’s probably not socks - or at least there’s something else in there besides socks,” they decide before shaking it one more time. “yeah there’s definitely something solid in there. ooh - probably some candy, right?”

it’s no surprise that vanellope would find ugly sweaters for the two of them to wear together. and as flynn looks at the garments in question, he’s just relieved it’s not one of those connecting ones that would have him stuck by her side the entire night. not that he’d fully mind - but he’d like to be able to spend time with his other friends and party guests as well. “alright, hand it over,” he gives in without any fight at all. “but it better not be itchy.”
