Richa Chadha at Critics Choice Film Awards 2019 : The Shehlaa dress is nice enough with all the ruffle but the high-low hemline just seemed unnecessary to me. The dress was fine with it. Also, those tacky studded pumps need to go.

Sonam Kapoor at Filmfare Glamour and Style Awards 2019 : Sonam has always leaned towards dramatic looks and while in the past, she was able to keep it graceful and flattering, now it just comes across as clunky and amateurish. Maybe it’s the pressure to live up to the “fashion icon” image she has set up for herself but in recent years, her style has taken a turn to trying-too-hard verse. In this Shehlaa look, there are clearly a lot going on which gives it a messy look. And a Philip Treacy hat and bright red lipstick did not help the situation. It’s overwhelmingly fussy!
