☀ ;; After a long day of showing the still newly arrived King their land, Lorelei figured he needed a rest. Walking up the stairs to their private chambers, the Queen showed the King their room in which they’ll be sharing from now on. It was fairly large with an equally large bed in which Lorelei had been sleeping alone but now he’s home, she wouldn’t have to anymore.
“I hope the room is to your liking love, I remembered all of the things that were in our old room and placed them here.” Lorelei replied upon closing the door to which means they have ultimate privacy.
➶ ————— Vigorous Spring
The day had been full of events. He arrived in Valinor, not even thinking about the possibility to find his beloved One. Yet, there she was. Beautiful as always.
The day passed slowly: he greeted the rest of the inhabitants of the sacred land, walked along the paths that his wife walked on for so long without him knowing. His hand was clasped around his One’s, never letting it go, never allowing her to step away from him, as if he was terrified to lose her once again.
But they were finally reunited, and that was what counted.
He followed his Queen up the stairs that would lead them to their quarters, and entered the room as she opened it. The room was big and comfortable. It presented many things that reminded him of the quarters he had back in Mirkwood. The carved patterns, the choice of the drapes and bedding, everything was just like he remembered.
He turned back to his wife and smiled at her, before walking slowly around the room to delight in the fine decorations.
❝ It is comfortable and intimate, here. ❞
He said, removing one of his rings and setting it on the wooden dresser by the bed.
❝ It feels just like home. ❞
