I just had a horrible thought. You know how Haggar has a habit of punishing soldiers by turning them into beasts to fight Voltron? And you know how Shiro was not only referred to as the Champion, but it was also implied that he was trained in those battles to "join the Galra empire" (by Sendak)? If the Galra did capture Shiro, what if this is supposed to be his intended fate? Worse even, the other paladins would likely fight/kill any beast before realizing it's Shiro, which would devastate Keith
oh god... what if Shiro pleads Keith to kill him when Keith realizes it’s him
of course, Keith wouldn’t, and would try to capture him so they can figure out what to do with him, or else they run for it, but... D:
