UHMM I JUST WANT YOU TO KNOW I LOVE THE SHEITH TAYLOR PLAYLIST SOOO MUCH I literally have a thread on Twitter about Taylor lyrics that I think relate to them I-
"From the atlas take me far / leave me reckless off the map / turn the paper don't bring me back" AKA I have a lot of feelings still over Sheith and I only know how to deal with them via making playlists... Artwork:

I made another Sheith playlist because I literally have no control over my life lmao
Permission was given by thmasx.tumblr.com to use art for cover!!
ninth and final fill for @voltronbingo !!! and it’s a bingo !!!
i actually don’t have the motivation or energy to do this, but i figured it’d be a shame if i didn’t finish my last fill. i tried to whip up some songs related to devotion mainly. i think i’ve used some songs in here before, while others i’ve never used... but here goes. hope this is better than i think it is!
D E V O T I O N // B E L I E F
youtube || spotify
1. james dean & audrey hepburn (sleeping with sirens)
“can’t promise that things won’t be broken, but i swear that i will never leave.”
when it comes to love and devotion, i think it is important that lovers stay together through everything, most especially the difficult times. in the song, i imagine both shiro and keith promising each other that no matter what, they will never abandon each other.
2. never gonna leave this bed (maroon 5)
“you say, “go, it isn’t working.” and i say “no. it isn’t perfect, so i’ll stay instead.””
similar to the previous song, this song talks about staying with each other no matter how hard and imperfect things may be. keith and shiro, i like to think, have a tendency to push other people away if they think it will be easier for the other, but at the same time, refuse to leave the people that they love alone in their toughest times.
3. night changes (one direction)
“does it ever drive you crazy just how fast the night changes? everything that you’ve ever dreamed of disappearing when you wake up, but there’s nothing to be afraid of even when the night changes. it will never change me and you.”
a lot of time may pass, and many things can change during that time, but the feelings shared between two people in love will never change. no matter how much time passes, no matter what may happen, no matter what they gain or lose, and no matter what changes around them, keith assures shiro that the way they feel about each other will never change. they will always have each other.
4. all of the stars (ed sheeran)
“I know these scars will bleed, but both of our hearts believe that all of these stars will guide us home.”
every time one of them goes on a mission, they know all the risks and pain that would come with it. despite that, they believe that no matter what, they will always find their way back to each other.
5. wherever you will go (the calling)
“in your heart, in your mind, i’ll stay with you for all of time. if i could, then i would. i’ll go wherever you will go.”
following the premise of the previous song, the duo make it clear that they will always be with each other, whether in spirit or in person. if they had any control over what they need to do, they would follow each other to the ends of the earth.
6. i will follow you into the dark (death cab for cutie)
“if there’s no one beside you when your soul embarks, then i’ll follow you into the dark.”
the song speaks for itself. if ever one of the two were to die, the remaining person would surely want to follow after, especially keith. they would follow each other anywhere, even to death.
7. the power of love (gabrielle aplin)
“i’ll protected you from the hooded claw, keep the vampires from your door. when the chips are down, i’ll be around with my undying, death-defying love for you.”
the song sends a pretty strong message about love, and i think that the love between keith and shiro mirror it perfectly. the second verse focuses on the feelings one would have towards their loved one, and as seen in the show, these two, especially keith, would go to great lengths to protect shiro.
8. the end of all things (panic! at the disco)
“whether near or far, i am always yours.”
what better song to end this playlist and round than this? made in place of urie’s wedding vows, the song holds much feelings of devotion to one person. no matter how much time passes, and no matter how far apart they may be, keith and shiro will always stay devoted to each other.\
If you're still taking songs for the Sheith playlist, I love "A Thousand Years (Part 2)" by Christina Perri & Steve Kazee for them.
yes....sappy n good. thank u. i will only ever think of this song as the twilight song but i’ll add it, just for u (sheith is the level of extra that reaches or even exceeds twilight anyway so LMAO extra fitting)
