Shelf-portrait in progress. This is the nonfiction in our house that mostly interests me. Top to bottom: scripture and theology; mythology and folklore; memoir, essay, and books about writing; science and the history of science; feminist thought; the Aztecs. (The Aztecs were for a book.). Gardening and typography in there somewhere. Across the room there is history, gets geography, urbanism, architecture and SO MANY TRAINS on my hubby’s shelf.
