"Gifted child" that is barely holding it together due to peer pressure and their family's expectations. Their parents are divorced. Shell is currently living with their father.

Not sure about ages yet; maybe she and Eric/One are the same age and students (in either hs or college), maybe they're employed...maybee Shell is employed and Eric/One is still in college.

All I know is that Eric/One is both diligent in his studies and athletic, likes wearing varsity jackets and that he still has to deal with his s/o's antics.

Also, is it just me or did Shell's character arc get dropped towards the end?
