Eric inherited his borderline bpd from Brutal Bones
Hear me out, we know Eric is prone to lashing out and flying into rages, and during this time his reason eludes him, making him capable of doing things he wouldn’t normally do, i.e, bad things. Neither Ellie nor White Bones seemed to display this same intense temper, in fact it is remarked on how White Bones is much gentler/kinder than the average vampire, and Ellie himself is a very genteel and gentlemanly man as well. Sooo, where did Eric get that temper of his? Yes, it could be the “vampire instincts” in him, but he’s half vampire, and it has already been said that his mother’s vampire instincts were not like the rest of the vampires. So, he got it from Brutal Bones. Brutal is biologically Eric’s grandfather. And Brutal is, well, brutal. He’s quite obviously on the unstable side, and constantly flying into rages, during which he is capable of anything, such as killing his own daughter and heir without a second thought. There are several times Eric displays his temper in the way Brutal does, when he gets angry and hurts Shell out of stress and rage on blood tax day, when he almost kills Cinderella, and when he lashes out when Jack taunts him. And he also displays some of Brutal’s possessive nature as well. As much as Eric has Ellie and White Bones in him, he also has the more undesirable traits of his grandfather in him too. It explains so much about Eric, if we remember exactly who’s blood he has in him.
So I’m re-reading Blood Bank and I’m on chapter 46, and the homosexualism between Pain Overload and Brutal Bones?????? Like, how could I not remember this from only, two??? Years ago?????
I had this idea in my head for a very long time since the end of blood bank, but I was very busy for a long time and did the art very long... but finally it's here! And I like it!!
That looked weird
I'm talking about the manhwa Blood Bank, when Pain Overlord topped Brutal Bones. I was not expecting that. It looked like a mouse trying to top an elephant.
Reminder that Shell is like 9 years older than Eric
